Collin Mayne is a serial entrepreneur out of Canada. As a former fitness model and physique competitor, it’s no surprise his first business was online fitness training.
Then he got involved with a marketing agency.
And more recently, ecom. Walmart and Amazon automation, to be exact.
Before we get into that, here’s kind of a day in the life of Collin Mayne.
He’ll wake up about 5 a.m., try to avoid his phone for the first hour or so, journal, map out his day, stuff like that.
Then he’ll go for a short walk.
Then it’s time to officially start his day. He’s usually on business calls or doing video calls or check-ins with his fitness clients.
Once he wraps all that up, it’s time to hit the gym.
And then the day just kinda winds down from there.
“It’s not super exciting,” he laughs. “It’s not as sexy as it looks on social media. But I am doing it in cool places, so at least there’s that. Like, I’m able to run all of my businesses remotely unless I gotta go to a legal conference or something like that.”
But yeah, Collin’s got his personal brand. He monetizes that through supplement and apparel sponsors, the online personal training, custom meal plans, and so on.
Then, business two, it sounds like he does digital marketing for law firms alongside a couple of other guys.
And business three – probably the reason you’re here – is the done for you ecommerce offer.
“I actually partnered with another guy on that,” Collin says. “Scott Barrie, from We Do Ecom For You [which is stylized We Do Ecom 4 U on social].”
“Anyways, I partnered with him, and then we grew and scaled that. Hit like seven-figures in four months,” he continues.
“But essentially what it is, is it’s a company and we curate and build out and manage Amazon and Walmart stores for ecommerce. And then, it’s a 50/50 profit share. So the company is trying to make you as much money as possible ’cause then it makes them as much money as possible.”
“And it’s 100% passive income. We do everything. We do all the sales, the returns, we select the products.”
“You don’t have to do a single thing,” Collin emphasizes.
“I personally own two stores and then we have 57 clients currently.”
“But the model we use is dropshipping. And with dropshipping, obviously, it eliminates most of the risk ’cause like, say you purchase something from my store for $20. Then we buy it for $10 or whatever and keep the additional $10, right? So you’re never like out of pocket. So it kind of eliminates the risk.”
“I think it’s probably the best business model. But yeah, that’s kind of how we run it.”
Collin and Scott’s We Do Ecom 4U brand has been featured on ABC and Yahoo Finance. Or so they say. If that’s even true, it was probably a paid article.
But apparently they’ll:
- Build you a new store.
- Sync the domain.
- Design it.
- Integrate payment gateways.
- Handle the legal documents.
- Find trending, profitable products to list that have good margins, high demand, and low competition.
- Source suppliers.
- Make sure orders get shipped directly to customers.
- Take care of tracking, logistics.
- And pay you your split.
What might that split look like? Unfortunately, they dodge that question hard in their FAQ section. Just that, it’ll vary depending on how much open credit you have.
Same type of response for the “How much is the upfront fee” question. Book a call if you wanna know, was basically what was said.
Just to give ya a ballpark, similar offers have started at $30k and went up from there.
Collin seems like a nice enough guy, but I can’t figure out what he brings to the table in this business, besides cashing in on his Instagram followers.
