Cody Askins Reviews

Cody Wearing Tie

Cody Askins made six figures in his first year as an insurance agent, and he’s done it every year since.

If you’re coachable and you show up and you’re consistent and reliable, he believes you can too.

“If you follow the steps that I’m about to give you, I guarantee you’ll make six figures selling insurance this year and every year for the rest of your life,” he says.

“I don’t care if you’re doing P&C or Medicare or life, commercial, home and auto, I don’t care.”

According to Cody, there are specific steps you need to take to become a six figure earner in this space.

First, don’t forget to attend his next Eight Percent event, whether it’s virtual or in-person.

He calls it the insurance industry’s best sales and marketing conference.

Past speakers have included names like Grant Cardone, Patrick Bet-David, and Eric Thomas.

Depending on how you attend and what package you choose, you’re looking at $99 on up to $4,997 for a ticket.

See 8PercentNation.com for the full pitch.

Next, you gotta be all-in and really let the world know what you’re gonna accomplish.

What’s your target, what’s your goal?

What are you going to launch and release?

Know exactly where you’re going and fully commit to getting there, no matter the cost.

“When I look back on my career, I wanted to win, I was determined, I would’ve done whatever it took to win,” Cody says.

“Are you the same way? You may not be. But I was. I was super aggressive, whatever it took I was gonna do.”

After that, you’ve really got to start to figure out what you need to be doing every single week.

Attitude and activity are really important.

“I’ll bundle those together,” Cody says. “But you really need to think about what you need to do.”

“Me, I was setting 15 appointments a week, I was sitting with 10+, and I was selling more than five.”

“Every single week.”

“You do that enough weeks in a row, guess what? You will string together six figures no matter what you’re selling, who you’re with. Doesn’t matter,” Cody claims.

What else?

Well, once you figure out what you need to do, you gotta get your skills up.

So say you wanna do virtual sales. You need to be reading books and watching videos and taking part in virtual conferences to learn from people who can help you with virtual sales.

If you wanna do field sales – door knocking, appointment setting, phone calls – same thing.

If you’re doing office sales, working from a call center, doesn’t matter.

Be honest with yourself. What’s your skill level like? And how do you level up?

From there, it’s about thoughts. Which become things, right?

So you have to constantly be thinking about what you wanna accomplish. Every morning, every night, and all day every day you need to be obsessed with smashing your goal.

And then, as you become successful, as you cross that six-figure-per-year mark, you have to send the elevator back down and help others who are struggling.

Cody’s sure you know an agent right now, who’s on your team, who needs you to pour into them, to impact them, to lift them up.

“Because, really, I get better when I help others get better,” Cody says.

“I’m tellin’ ya, when I pour into others, when I put out content to help other insurance agents in this space, it holds me accountable.”

“To be more serious and to wake up and do what I’m called to do,” he rants.

“But if you don’t start to do all the things I just discussed, it’s not gonna happen for you.”

“But I know that you want it to happen for you, right?”

“So I hope to see you at one of our 8% Virtual or 8% Nation events, okay?” he ends with.

He sounds like an MLMer, doesn’t he?
